Connect what you have, instead of replacing it

Most platform moves begin with a migration and six months where nothing is visible. Here you begin with your customers where they already are — and see the shop working while the back office runs as before.

Back office

Customers and orders stay where they are

If you run Exigo, the platform works directly against it. Customers, orders, products, prices and the organisation are read from there, and what you change in the admin — a new customer, an address, a price, an order — is sent to Exigo through Exigo's own API. More of Exigo is being connected as we go.

So you can start without moving anything. The back office keeps doing its job, and the shop is built on top of it.

What connects

What a shop needs around it

Each of these is installed in the admin, without a development project.

  • Exigo

Customers, orders, products, prices and the organisation come from Exigo, and changes in the admin are sent back. Your subscriptions show up in the admin too.

  • Card payments

Stripe for card payments, chosen per market and sales channel.

  • Invoicing for businesses

Business customers can buy on invoice with payment terms, alongside card.

  • Themes from GitHub

If an agency builds your site, the theme can come straight from their GitHub repository.

  • Events and automation

A new order, a new customer or a changed status can trigger something else — an e-mail, a call to another system, a task.

  • API

What is in your shop can also be reached through the API, and each key gets only the access you give it.

Your own extensions

When you need something nobody else has

With most vendors, a special need means waiting for them. Here you can build it yourselves, as an app that connects to the shop and the admin — with its own key and access only to what you give it.

That is the difference between solving your own special case and waiting for somebody else to.

Security

Each shop sees only its own

Customers, orders and settings belong to one shop and never show up in another. Who may do what in the admin you control with roles, and an app only gets the access you have given it.

Questions

What people usually ask

Do we have to sync data both ways?

No. The platform reads straight from Exigo and sends the changes you make back straight away, so there is no copy to keep in line. If somebody changes something directly in Exigo, that is what the platform reads.

We use a system other than Exigo. Will that work?

Yes, but it has to be connected first. That can be done a piece at a time — the customers first, say — while the rest lives with us. Bring it to the demo and we will look at it together.

Can we use only some of the parts?

Yes. What you do not use does not appear in the admin at all — no empty menus and no screens to deal with.

What if our back office is poorly documented?

That is the usual case. The Exigo connection was built against a real account, and what was not settled was written down as open instead of guessed. That is how we work with your system too.

Bring the system nobody dares replace

That is usually what decides whether a move is possible at all.
